At Silk StayAways Equine Holidays, we are passionate about providing a one-of-a-kind holiday experience for horse owners. Our focus is on offering a relaxing retreat that allows you to bond with your horse while surrounded by our stunning slice of the Lake District.

Who are we ?
Based on a working stud farm in the lakes we welcome you to come meet some of our gorgeous babies, we aim to breed 3/4 foals a year so hopefully they'll be some babies around for a quick cuddle!
We are a yard of competition horses, we have a small handful of friendly livery's also !

What We Offer
Enjoy the convenience of having your own private paddock right next to your glamping pod, allowing you to keep a close eye on your horse while indulging in the tranquility of the Lake District. Additionally, you can request access to our indoor arena for schooling sessions during your stay.
Pampering for Your Horse
We understand the importance of pampering your horse, which is why we provide a hot horse shower on site. Treat your equine companion to a refreshing shower after an adventurous ride through the picturesque landscapes of the Lake District.
Comfortable Stabling Options
For added comfort and convenience, 12×12 Loddon stables are available by separate arrangement. Your horse can rest and relax in a comfortable environment, ensuring a pleasant stay for both you and your equine friend.
Glamping Pod
Bespoke made, our pod is comfortable yet practical
situated in its own dog safe ring fence directly in your horses grazing paddock a short walk from the main yard
horses graze the fields around so you dont need to worry if coming with one horse they will have company near by!

£90 per night based on 2 horses and 2 riders
£35 per extra rider & horse (we can take up to 4 guests )
£20 per stable per night if required hay & straw included
Hot Horse Shower £1 for 7mins
Free wagon/trailer parking
free dog visits up to two dogs anymore dogs please let us know in advance
T&C'S payments 50% payment on time of booking final 50% to be paid a week before your stay
